Innovation Lab
Is your student media organization ready to level up in 2025? We encourage you to apply for the Flytedesk Innovation Lab, our first audience and revenue accelerator cohort. Through a series of virtual workshops and one-on-one coaching, we’ll work with you to create a custom roadmap to ramp up your audience or revenue strategy.
Want to improve your newsletter, engage with alumni, revamp your Instagram strategy or launch a completely new product? Cool — let’s do it. Not sure where to start? That’s cool, too. We’ll help you identify your biggest challenge and make a plan to tackle it.
Throughout the program, we’ll discuss things like:
- Working smarter, not harder, to achieve your goals
- Agile project management
- Audience research
- Evaluating and measuring success
- And more, depending on the needs of the cohort

Program Lead
Paige Ladisic Hamzik is our senior manager of publisher programming and innovation. She led advertising and revenue strategy at The Daily Tar Heel at UNC-Chapel Hill for four years, contributing to the team that took the DTH from substantial revenue losses to sustainable revenue growth. She also led product and revenue at The Assembly, a startup magazine in North Carolina, for two years before returning to flytedesk. She’s excited to lead this accelerator and work hands-on with student media.
